The team behind Century Strength & Conditioning have been training everyday athletes since 2010. We are proud to be Canberra’s premier outdoor fitness provider, offering bootcamp programs in any season, weather or terrain.
Our signature Outdoor Bootcamp is a minimum commitment of 3 x 60min sessions a week for 4 weeks consisting of high performance, science-based programming that delivers strikingly effective training in a supportive and disciplined environment. Suitable for all fitness levels, it is periodised to increase in intensity and complexity to ensure continual improvement, plus you won’t repeat sessions over and over.
If you are from a sporting team or don’t live close to one of our local programs, contact us and we can discuss options for providing a tailored fitness solution to meet your needs.
Our program is designed for use on smart phones and devices via our fully functional fitness App and requires no fancy equipment, spaces or previous fitness experience to complete. All our workouts are self-paced and easily followed thanks to smart in-App timers, set layouts and video tutorials.
Training programs consist of static workouts that can be completed in as little as a 2mx2m space and outdoor workouts which are ideally completed in a backyard or local oval, however can also be adapted to be done indoors.
Participants can expect to conduct high volume body-weight strength endurance training, offset with completing lactate threshold training or high-intensity interval training. For optimal results, we recommend completing at least 4 workouts a week. Learn more

Co-Founder & Head Coach
Steve is a former paratrooper in the Australian Army, exercise physiologist, and sought after trainer to elite level sporting teams and athletes of all abilities. Since 2010 he has trained thousands right here in Canberra under his personal ethos of infinitus potentia (infinite potential), believing every person in the right environment, under the right guidance can achieve any goal they set their mind to. Working with the AIS in tactical strength & conditioning Steve has developed mental resilience training packages for sports drafts, team bonding, international visits and Olympic Games preparation and various ACT Government’s fitness projects.
Co-Founder & Operations
With Mel you are guaranteed to be cared about. She holds a firm but friendly coaching style. Day to day you’ll find her ensuring that behind the scenes everything at Centry is running like clockwork. Her greatest achievement to date though, is her family. Wife to Steve and Mother to 3 children including a set of twins, life is busy and keeping up with them is reason enough to stay fit!
Good things come in small packages and Coach O’Neill is no exception. The epitome of what Century represents, Coach O’Neill holds our current fastest mile time (1.6km) of 5 minutes 45 seconds. With a varied background in swimming, martial arts, Thai kickboxing, mountain biking, ultra marathon running, and recently survival events it’s no wonder Coach O’Neill is a jack of all fitness trades. Having been a former couch-potato, he knows the dedication and commitment it takes to succeed and takes every opportunity to lead an active, healthy life. This is why as a Coach he assumes an immediate mentor role with our athletes and finds a way to bring out the best in them – always.
